At Weymouth Care Home you won’t find set routines and daily schedules. What you’ll find is a vibrant atmosphere and a team of dedicated, responsive staff committed to giving you all the freedom and support you need to get the most out of each day.
We value the extra things that enrich your day-to-day life and ensure that days are not mundane – such as trips out to local National Trust properties and gardens, the nearby beach and other places of interest. There’s a wide range of social events and activities both inside our home and in the garden to encourage you to continue living an active and enjoyable lifestyle.
Out and About
The home has its own dedicated minibus, allowing for regular outings and trips that residents really look forward to and thoroughly enjoy. Over the past few months, residents have visited Christmas markets, Yeovil Air Museum, Haynes Motor Museum, Abbotsbury Swannery, Local garden centres, Bowling in Yeovil – and enjoyed visits to a number of county pubs.Old favourites include outings to Portland Bill and scenic drives along the coast road to West Bay, for a cuppa!
